PLANT CHARACTER

Perennial, creeping, and aggressive climber legume. It spreads fast, thick stems and pseudo tap roots 2-3m depth. Branches from each node. Adventitious roots do not form easily from the nodes touching the ground.

 

 

 

 

USES
Smothers weeds, nitrogen fixer, controls erosion, maintains soil moisture and temperature, as well as improves soil texture.

GROWTH HABIT
Shade tolerant, slow growth in the first 8 to 10 months. Thereafter, grows
profusely.
