Empowering sustainable agriculture through innovation, connection, and in-field action

13th National Palm Oil Congress 2024 – Davao City, Philippines

Chemiseed, through Kudzu Seeds Trading, joined the 13th National Palm Oil Congress at Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City. The event brought together palm oil producers, sustainability leaders, and agri-researchers to explore eco-friendly solutions for plantation management. Chemiseed presented its tropical cover crop systems and soil amendment technologies focused on reducing erosion and regenerating soil fertility. Several palm oil cooperatives expressed interest in piloting Chemiseed’s solutions, opening the door to collaborative trials in Mindanao and beyond.

Agri Malaysia 2024 – Setia City Convention Centre, Selangor

Chemiseed participated in Agri Malaysia 2024, a leading regional trade fair attracting thousands of agriculture professionals. Our booth showcased sustainable farming technologies, including nitrogen-fixing legumes, tropical soil boosters, and regenerative seed blends. We connected with over 100 agronomists, fertilizer distributors, and commercial growers seeking to reduce chemical inputs and improve soil resilience. The event also generated valuable media coverage and interest from potential partners across Johor, Perak, and Sabah.

Cadamba Plantation Site Visit – Bandung, Indonesia (2024)

Chemiseed’s field team conducted a plantation visit in Bandung to support a Cadamba tree reforestation project. The site had suffered from poor soil structure and waterlogging, leading to weak seedling establishment. We implemented on-site soil pH testing, drainage assessments, and introduced leguminous groundcover trials to enhance biomass and nitrogen fixation. Results from early monitoring showed increased root development and improved moisture retention, validating the approach for scaled use in tropical forest plantations across West Java.

Pakar Pertanian 2025 – MAEPS Serdang, Selangor

At Pakar Pertanian 2025, Chemiseed engaged with local government agencies, agricultural universities, and growers from across Malaysia. Our exhibit focused on biological inputs, soil microbiome enhancement, and climate-adaptive cover crops tailored for Southeast Asian farms. During the event, we presented case studies from ongoing field trials in Selangor and Penang, which highlighted measurable gains in soil structure and crop resilience. Attendee feedback helped shape future collaborations and pilot programs in highland and lowland farming zones.

Aqina Pineapple Farm Site Visit – Malaysia (2025)

Chemiseed’s technical visit to Aqina Pineapple Farm focused on site preparation for a precision field trial involving intercropped cover species and biofertilizer application. Soil sampling, pH/moisture readings, and topographic mapping were conducted to inform treatment layout. The partnership aims to improve root zone health, boost water retention, and reduce nutrient leaching common in sandy soils. Aqina’s management team expressed strong interest in tracking yield impact over the next planting cycle, marking this as a potential model site for pineapple sector sustainability.
