Hyacinth Plus is a composted water hyacinth soil amendment, supplied in 25 kg bags. Use it to add organic matter and improve soil structure; it is a soil conditioner, not a source of NPK.

It can be used alongside SoilBoost EA in a soil conditioning programme.

Application Guide

Rice

Growth stage: Broadcast during transplanting.
Application rate: 500kg/ha. Add as needed.

Corn

Growth stage: Spread along the furrow line during sowing.
Application rate: 500kg/ha. Add as needed.

Plantation Crops

(Banana, Coconut, Oil Palm, Mango, Pineapple, Sugarcane, Tobacco)

Established plants

Application rate: 2 to 3 t/ha. Add as needed.

Seedling stage

Application rate: 1 to 3 kg per plant. Increase depending on plant size.

Solanaceous Crops

(Tomato, Eggplant)

Application stage: During or after planting

What is Hyacinth Plus?

Is Hyacinth Plus a fertiliser?

No. It is a soil conditioner, not a source of NPK, so keep your fertiliser programme in place. It can be used alongside SoilBoost EA in a soil conditioning programme.

How much Hyacinth Plus should I apply?

The label rates are: rice, 500 kg/ha broadcast at transplanting; corn, 500 kg/ha along the furrow at sowing; established plantation crops, 2 to 3 t/ha; plantation seedlings, 1 to 3 kg per plant; vegetables (solanaceous, bulb, crucifer, cucurbit and root crops), 500 g to 1 kg per plant during or after planting. Add as needed.
