SoilBoost EA Soil Conditioner

SoilBoost EA is a humic acid soil conditioner manufactured exclusively by Chemiseed Sdn. Bhd. (60.6% humic acid by CDFA method, pH 3.84, 0.45% sulfur, Leonardite-derived). It supports degraded and replanting soils. It is not a fertiliser substitute and not a disease treatment.

Use Cases for Government and Institutional Buyers

Land Development and Replanting Programmes (including PSR)

Leguminous cover crops are standard practice in new and replanted oil palm and rubber areas, where they fix nitrogen, suppress weeds, and protect soil during the establishment phase. They fit naturally into smallholder replanting (peremajaan) programmes such as Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat (PSR), Indonesia's national smallholder oil palm replanting programme administered through BPDPKS. Chemiseed supplies the cover crop seed and SoilBoost EA used on replanting blocks; we do not administer the PSR programme itself. See our replanting guide for agronomic detail.

Reforestation (Reboisasi) and Watershed Rehabilitation

Cover crops restore nitrogen to depleted soils and reduce erosion during tree establishment, supporting reforestation (reboisasi and penghijauan) and watershed (DAS) rehabilitation programmes. CM and PJ are commonly used for soil restoration during tree establishment.

Erosion Control on Cleared and Sloping Land

PJ and CM establish roots quickly on exposed subsoil, helping bind soil and reduce surface runoff on cleared replant land, cut slopes, and sloping plantation terrain. See our erosion control guide for agronomic detail.

Smallholder and Cooperative Programmes

Smallholder support programmes and farmer cooperatives (koperasi) can include cover crop establishment to improve soil and reduce input costs over time. We can supply seed in programme-scale quantities with the documentation needed for institutional distribution. See our smallholder guide.

Cover Crop Seeding Rates

Spesies Establishment Indicative Rate
Pueraria javanica PJ) Sebar 4 to 6 kg/ha
Calopogonium mucunoides CM) Sebar 4 to 6 kg/ha
Centrosema pubescens CP) Sebar 3 to 4.5 kg/ha
Calopogonium caeruleum (CC) Sebar 3 to 4.5 kg/ha
Mucuna bracteata MB) Nursery-raised, transplanted About 320 seedlings/ha (roughly 85 to 100 g seed/ha)

MB is established from nursery-raised seedlings and transplanted, not broadcast. SoilBoost EA, where used, is applied at 50 to 100 kg/ha by broadcast or 10 to 15 kg/ha by drench. Final rates depend on site conditions, programme objectives, and agronomic advice. Our agronomy team can confirm rates per project.

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

Does Chemiseed supply cover crop seeds for Indonesian government and institutional projects?

Yes. Chemiseed is a Malaysian company (Sdn. Bhd.) that supplies cover crop seeds (PJ, MB, CM, CP, CC) and SoilBoost EA soil conditioner in bulk and tender quantities for government agencies, plantation programmes, reforestation, and erosion control projects in Indonesia. We have supplied agricultural inputs since 2003 and export with phytosanitary certification under ISPM 7 and NPPO Malaysia standards.

Which Indonesian agencies and institutions can use cover crop seed?

Cover crop seed and soil conditioners are relevant to buyer categories such as the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementerian Pertanian), provincial plantation offices (Dinas Perkebunan), state plantation companies (PTPN), reforestation and watershed programmes, and farmer cooperatives (koperasi). We list these as potential buyer categories. Chemiseed does not claim any specific agency or institution as an existing client on this page.

Do cover crops fit the PSR (Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat) programme?

Yes. PSR provides government support for smallholder oil palm replanting through BPDPKS, and the replant window is exactly when a protective legume cover is most valuable on cleared land. Cover crops fit naturally into a peremajaan programme. Chemiseed supplies the seed and SoilBoost EA; it does not administer PSR or any other government programme.

Can Chemiseed provide documentation for tender submissions?

Yes. We can provide seed quality certificates, germination test reports, species datasheets, and formal quotations (penawaran) suitable for government and institutional procurement. Export shipments to Indonesia include phytosanitary certification under ISPM 7 and NPPO Malaysia standards.

How do we request a quote or tender enquiry?

Contact Windhi, Chemiseed's Indonesia representative, by WhatsApp on +62 877-7837-4714 or email windhi@chemiseed.com with your project type, area in hectares, and location. For scheduled planting windows, we recommend enquiring at least 4 to 6 weeks before the required delivery date to confirm availability and shipping.

References and limitations: Seeding rates shown are indicative ranges for tropical conditions and should be confirmed per site with agronomic advice. SoilBoost EA specification values (60.6% humic acid by CDFA method, pH 3.84, 0.45% sulfur) reflect the product truth sheet. Agencies and institutions named on this page (Kementerian Pertanian, Dinas Perkebunan, PTPN, reforestation and watershed programmes, and koperasi) are listed as potential buyer categories only and are not stated to be existing Chemiseed clients. PSR (Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat) is the Indonesian government's smallholder oil palm replanting programme administered through BPDPKS; Chemiseed supplies inputs used on replanting blocks and does not administer PSR or any other government programme.
