SoilBoost EA

SoilBoost EA, which is a lignite ore that contains over 80% Humic Acid. This innovative product is specifically designed for use in areas with problematic soils that have been depleted of their nutrients or have little organic matter, as well as soils where nutrient absorption is difficult.

Humic Acid is a highly beneficial substance for soil health and plant growth. It helps to improve soil structure, enhance nutrient availability, increase water retention, promote microbial activity, and stimulate root development. SoilBoost EA, being derived from lignite ore, has the highest humic content among all the sources of Humic Acid, making it an excellent choice for improving soil fertility and productivity.

One of the key advantages of SoilBoost EA is its effect on the cation exchange capacity (CEC) of soil. CEC refers to the soil's ability to hold and exchange positively charged nutrients, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and ammonium. Higher CEC means that the soil can retain more nutrients and make them available for plant uptake, thus promoting better nutrient utilization and reducing nutrient losses through leaching.

WHAT IS HUMIC ACID?

Humic acid helps plants in several ways. First, it acts as a chelating agent, which means it binds with and makes nutrients available for plant uptake. This is because humic acid has a high cation exchange capacity (CEC), which allows it to hold onto positively charged nutrients like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and ammonium, and release them as needed by the plant.

Second, humic acid improves soil structure by promoting the formation of soil aggregates. Soil aggregates are small clumps of soil particles that are held together by organic matter, including humic acid. These aggregates help to create pore spaces in the soil, which improves aeration and water movement in the soil, and makes it easier for roots to penetrate the soil.

Third, humic acid enhances the growth and activity of beneficial microorganisms in the soil, such as bacteria and fungi. These microorganisms play a key role in breaking down organic matter and releasing nutrients into the soil, which can be taken up by plants.

Fourth, humic acid helps to buffer soil pH, which is important for plant growth. Plants have specific pH ranges in which they grow best, and if the soil pH is too low or too high, it can limit nutrient availability and reduce plant growth. Humic acid helps to stabilize soil pH by acting as a natural buffer.

Overall, the benefits of humic acid for plants include improved nutrient availability, enhanced soil structure and aeration, increased water retention, and a healthier soil microbial community. These benefits can lead to healthier, more productive plants with improved yields and quality.
