Questions about Pole Sitao Super Green XL Seeds
How long are Super Green XL pods, and when is first harvest?
Pods are extra-long and uniform, in the 85 to 90 cm class, with first harvest 50 to 52 days after sowing. Long, straight pods bundle cleanly for market and keep their colour well.
How is pole sitao grown?
Direct-seed at the base of trellises or poles in full sun, and harvest frequently to keep pods at spec.
Does it fit a crop rotation?
Yes. As a legume (Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis), pole sitao fixes part of its own nitrogen, which makes it a useful rotation partner after heavy-feeding crops.
Is it a hybrid?
No. Super Green XL is an open-pollinated (OP) variety.
How do I order, and what documents come with the seed?
Ask for a quotation with your quantity and delivery location. The quotation confirms pack sizes, germination data for the current lot, minimum order, lead time and delivery terms (Ex Works Selangor, Malaysia, unless it names FOB or CIF). Where the destination country requires one, export orders ship with a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Department of Agriculture Malaysia (DOA). Import permits are the buyer's responsibility.
Documents available
Technical Data Sheet (TDS), Certificate of Analysis (COA) with germination data, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) where applicable, and, for export, a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Department of Agriculture Malaysia (DOA) are available on request. Seed lots are germination- and purity-tested to ISTA and AOSA methods.
Limitations and site considerations
Field results depend on crop system, soil, rainfall, planting method, seed quality, storage, timing, and post-establishment management. Adjust recommendations to local conditions, and contact us before ordering if you are unsure about crop fit, application rate, or site suitability.
